Per Amohabia 2023 il tema sarà “la Tradizione” e verrà affrontato dal team del design tramite la flora africana.
Esploriamo la flora di 54 Paesi africani scegliendo una pianta/fiore per regione tenendo conto del suo valore per la comunità, della sua famiglia, del suo significato sacro/curativo e delle parti che la compongono.
Il concetto ha a che fare con il fatto che per noi è importante creare nuove idee che sfuggano alle regole e alle idee già esplorate da altri autori. È importante per noi immergerci in questo concetto a livello di Design perché capiamo che chi è nato in Africa può avere nel trovare la bellezza naturale esteticamente materializzata in un prodotto di design.
Attraverso Flora intendiamo parlare delle diverse parti che compongono la pianta di un determinato luogo: – la radice di un determinato luogo: la radice = identità; il fusto = valori; le foglie = comunità; i frutti = cultura.
In questo modo ogni lettore avrà l’opportunità di godere della cultura africana in modo piacevole e facilmente fruibile, aggiungendo saggezza alla propria conoscenza.
Che non manchi la parola del Griot per raccontare la storia di ogni pianta che entrerà in questo nuovo concetto e che i colori e l’estetica del Design facciano emergere l’energia contagiosa dell’Africa in ogni anima.
The design of the third edition
For Amohabia 2023, the theme will be “Tradition” and it will be addressed by the design team through African flora.
We explore the flora of 54 African countries by choosing one plant/flower per region taking into account its value to the community, its family, its sacred/healing significance, and its component parts.
The concept has to do with the fact that it is important for us to create new ideas that escape the rules and ideas already explored by other authors. It is important for us to immerse ourselves in this concept at the level of Design because we understand that those born in Africa may have in finding natural beauty aesthetically materialized in a design product.
Through Flora we intend to talk about the different parts that make up the plant of a given place: the root = identity; the stem = values; the leaves = community; the fruits = culture.
In this way, every reader will have the opportunity to enjoy African culture in an enjoyable and easily usable way, adding wisdom to their knowledge.
May there be no shortage of the Griot’s word to tell the story of each plant that will enter this new concept, and may the colors and aesthetics of the Design bring out the infectious energy of Africa in every soul.
